Yangon City Golf Resort

Located about 30 minutes' drive from downtown Yangon.
There are two 18 holes courses. Namely, Ngwe Taw Tar (Silver) Course, opened in 1994 with 7000 yards in total range and Myakantha (Pondy) course opened in 1996 with 6,208 yards. Both courses were designed by Yangon City Development Committee.
Being the courses designed by Han Golf Master ( a company related to Myanmar’s PGA Pro “ Kyi Hla Han “ ) this is considered as one of the best courses in Myanmar. Unofficially, its ranked second after Pun Hlaing for its well maintained fairways and greens.

City Golf Club has hosted APGA Tours two times – in 1998 and 1999

Pun Hlaing Golf Resort

Located about 30 minutes' drive from downtown and 20 minutes from the airport.
Designed by Gary Player ,this beautiful 18 hole championship golf course is considered to be one of Asia ’s most outstanding golf course and its considered number 1 in Myanmar with its well groomed fairways and greens. As a very new course with mostly palm trees, the lack of shade is a draw back for the golfers who can not get up early. Total yardage is 7012.

Yangon Golf Club

Located about 30 minutes' drive from downtown Yangon.
This 18-hole course was founded since 1909 and is one of the oldest golf club in Myanmar . The total range is 7,063 yards and the fairways are lined with matured trees, offering welcomed shade. This is a classic, natural course which no golfer should miss playing. Its considered the best course for the golfers who love nature. It has recently hosted APGA Tours in January, 2000.

Yay Dagon Taung Golf Resort (Mandalay)

Located about 25 minutes' drive from downtown Mandalay.
The 18-hole course of 6386 yards is designed by Mandalay City Development Committee and opened in 1996. It is located at the foot of the Yay Dagon Taung (Water Fall) Mountain.

Pyin Oo Lwin Golf Course

This 18 holes course is considered to be one of the most popular courses in Myanmar . Thanks to the good weather of this hilly summer retreat, it gives the best playing condition in the country.

Ayethayar Golf Club ( Taunggyi)

Situated near Taunggyi, the capital of Shan state, over 4000 feet above sea level. The 18-hole course of 7380 yards was opened in 1995. With the beautiful Shan mountain range in the back ground, Golfers enjoy the cool climate as well as good scenery. Its also good for the people who want to combine golf with leisure trips because its only 1 hour away from famous Inle lake by driving.

Popa Mountain Golf Resort (Bagan)

This beautiful 9 holes course located about 45 minutes drive from Bagan/Nyaung U airport and its on the Mt. Popa, known as Myanmar’s Mt. Olympus about 5000 ft. above sea level. The natural springs, flowers, mature trees and wooded hillsides greatly contrast to the arid lands surrounding it and therefore called the “ Oasis of the dry zone”. The climate is also totally different from neighboring Bagan.

Bagan Golf Resort

Located in Nyaung Oo about 10 minutes' drive from the Bagan archeological zone and about 5 finutes from the air port.
This 18-hole course of 7147 Yards was opened in 1999. Unlike other golf courses, it is located in the middle of the world-famous Bagan temples and pagodas. You can imagine the feeling of playing golf among these 1000 years old temples. As Bagan itself is located in a hot zone, playing golf in Bagan is a bit hot during the afternoon. So, the best time is to play in the early morning. Then, you can enjoy both the view of the temples and the cool atmosphere of the morning.
